The workpiece is placed in the planetary wheel type workpiece holder, located between the upper plate and the lower grinding plate.
During the process, the outer ring, the central gear, the planetary wheel, and the lower plate rotate in the same direction, while the upper and lower plates rotate in opposite directions. This movement combines rotation and orbital translation of the workpiece, generating a uniform and non-repetitive grinding path.
The upper and lower plates can apply pressure and compensate for slight variations through a controlled flotation system, thus improving parallelism and flatness on both sides of the workpiece.
By processing the top and bottom faces simultaneously, the risk of bending or deformation of the part during the process is reduced.
9B Double-sided grinding and polishing machine
The SAINKO 9B double-sided grinding and polishing machine is specially designed for the fast grinding and polishing of metal parts.
It incorporates a drive by means of three motors, allowing the simultaneous movement of the upper plate, the lower plate and the sun wheel, while the inner toothed ring remains fixed.
The working pressure is generated by the weight of the upper plate itself and can be adjusted, reduced or increased, by reverse pneumatic pressure and control by an electric proportional valve.
The lifting stroke of the inner toothed ring reaches 70 mm, allowing the use of grinding wheels up to 50 mm thick. The process does not require abrasive fluid, offering an efficient and more environmentally friendly solution.
Field of application: Suitable for processing stainless steel, copper, aluminum and other metal products, such as suitcase hardware, high-end jewelry, 3C components and similar parts.
